In My [Honest/Humble] Opinion.
[Haughty/Hair-brained]
variants imo: In My Opinion, imho; see above, and lastly, imnsho: In My NOT So Humble Opinion.
There's also HHOK, for "Ha Ha Only Kidding."
IMHO? Well I always thought it meant, "Isn't my honesty outrageous". Or was it, "Infer modesty however overblown"? No, no. It's, "Impure metafores heave odiferous".
Maybe my asking this question wasn't such a great idea. :) Actually I like chelsea's outrageous honesty best. HHOK may come in handy too. Thanks all. Now its someone elses turn to use this entry to ask a glossary question.
Okay, what does
<g>
mean?
My son told me that <g> is a grin. I prefer ASCII graphics. :) is only a smile, though.
That's the way I've always see <g> interpreted. Well, TTFN.
Ah, an englishman.
<G> "we" don't do sfsf's, but that's ok, it can work
for you.
Actually, <g> means "Genreal Admission", and so the response is wholesome family entertainment suitable for young children.
<G>uess it depends on context <g>.
Ok ts, what the heck is sfsf?
Obviously, it means "science fiction science fiction", and the person who writes this must want you to go to the SciFi conference and enter new items. (Shameless plug.)
sfsf = :-)
sfsf = Silly F#$%& Smiley Face <g>
Oh, that's what kentn just said, whoops .......
OKOK, I'll get with the program and grin more and smile less. <g>
Ascii smiley-faces don't get read when I'm scanning messages, which is why I use the counterconvention <smile> or <rueful grin.>
