Is there a way to use the menu shell and Pine to read our mbox? Some stuff we had intended to respond to got accidently "saved" to the wrong place. Thanks. AT&T Documentation Staff

Enter !mail -f
(unfortunately, that uses the "mail" program, not elm or pine. Not that that's a bad thing, mind you...)
I haven't used the menu shell enough to know if there's a way to do this directly from the menu shell, but you could try "!pine -f /u/att/mbox" (without the quotes) from the next bbs prompt.
Best thing to do is select the R option from the main menu
to run a Unix program, then you'll want to run:
pine -f /u/att/Mail/saved-messages
You can then save them to some other file, delete them, or
whatever.
(Though I do have to wonder why AT&T needs a Grex account. >8)

Because it cuts way down on the beaurocracy involved with getting an e-mail account that can go off-site. This is after 6 months of trying to go through channels. *sigh*
Is #6 an answer to the ( ??? ) question on #4 ?

Oh, is att *you*, Misti? I'd wondered about this myself - somehow it showed up somewhere else. I, too, can believe that your explanation makes perfect sense. Thanks.
