Grex Info Item 158: more clear settings?

I seem to remember reading somwhere that it's possible to have
"more" clear the screen instead of scrolling.  If this is right,
how do I enable it?

I just tried putting "def pager more -c" in my ..cfonce, and it
didn't work.

I thought there might be a termcap setting or something of the
sort.  It would be neat if it worked for picospan, trn, elm, etc.

Or just use page instead of more.  It clears the screen, but other than
that seems to do the same thing.

How about the scrollback/pageback functions, or is that to
be experimentally determined on a case by case basis?
