Carson says he no longer wants to be a co-fairwitness of this conferences. I don't want to be the sole fairwitness around here. Are there any volunteers to replace Carson as co-fairwitness?

well, i geuss that answers my mail, huh? :)
eeyore said in mail that she was willing to take over as fw, so I've sent mail to cfadm asking them to add her.
I won't volunteer for two reasons, this is the most boring shit i've ever read in my life, two, someone already applied god forbid you people have something interesting to say...
I'm sorry you feel that way, howy. Your attitude isn't exactly a productive one as far as making things interesting to you, and slamming those who still have the energy to try and make a change isn't going to help either. I doubt you looked at this conference just to flame two of the kindest people I know. You were hopefully looking for something that interested you, maybe something specific? Why didn't you enter an item about it?
thank you for entering that, carson...i was trying to think up a nice way to reply to that. howy: honestly...this is a free place...read what you want to read, don't read what you don't want to read. but please don't sit there and read what you don't want to read, and then complain about it, since you had the coie of what to read anyway! :)
Yes, thanks, Carson.
I've been procrastinating on this for a while, but it's time for me to stop being an FW here. As anybody looking over the last several months of activity (or lack thereof) in this conference would be able to tell, it's been being neglected, and now that activity is picking up again I really don't have time to start doing FW stuff on it again. Besides, I've been doing this since the beginning of this conference's predicessor, the GenX conference, and it's really time for somebody else to have a turn at it. Is anybody interested? The job of FW really doesn't take much: -being an active participant in the conference and encouraging discussion. -linking items when needed (and probably keeping an eye out for stuff to link) -maintaining the login, logout, and rc files, or deciding to leave them alone
(meg wonders what the login, logout and rc files are.....:)
The login file is what you see when you enter a conference. The logout is what you see when you leave it, and the rc is a bunch of PicoSpan commands that are run when you enter a conference. Type "display login" to see the login file, "display logout" to see the logout file, etc. eeyore and whever replaces me can also type "change" followed by the file name to change the file.
eeyore been around this long and didn't know? let's keep her! =)
there is so much that eeyore doesn't know, that its not even funny.....
