Remmers' item about the seventies got me to thinking.  (He and I 
are very close contemporaries, so the following lists apply to 
him as well as to me.)

I am younger than the Normandy Invasion, but older than VE day
(and therefore of course also VJ day). This makes me too old to
be a baby boomer. (but not by much)
