I'm always home,a nd I have 2 phone lines, so my voice-phone is usually

Now that I think about it, I probably woudln't be a good candidate for
this job.  I spend so much of the time when I'm home on Grex that anybody
calling me would probably get either a busy signal or my brother, who
knows nothing about Grex or Unix.

can't hear the phone, anyway, so you can put me down for anytime.  My

Umm, it might be a good idea to recruit some people from different parts 
of the country (world?) so that people can have more local people to call.

I think having Grex contact people far from A2 is a wonderful thing; if
nothing else, many people would hesitate to make long distance calls but
would call someone near them, I think.

Which is exactly why we should have volunteer call fielders from many
different places.  If someone in Pittsburgh wants help, he can now make a
local call to a person that he knows is willing to give him help.

Valerie, (I'm was mark1 and other assorted ids once, about 20000000 years ago,
and would be willing to donate a toll free voicemail line, My only problem
is that the email is under mkewman@ureach.com, but you can just use it for
telephone calls.  Time limited to about 50 minutes each month.

I'm going to respond here, maybe I'll send a message later:  I'm willing,
but I tend not to be at my desk at critical times.

(just received my 1st phone call from being on the phone help list.  helped
a user in Dallas figure out terminal settings for lynx.)
