It's nice to be thanked. It doesn't happen often enough. I also think that thanks to one helper spreads out to them all, as they are working together (as this conference shows) to improve the help system. Therefore this Item is for sharing any Thanks! we receive.

Goddess Athena, I've lost count of how many thank-you messages I've gotten. Not that this is a bad thing, mind you. >8) The best one, I think, was from the group of students in California who all got accounts on Grex as part of their Internet class. (Yes, they're taking an Internet class and their own college doesn't provide anything except telnet. Go figure.) Getting perpetual thanks from a group of about twenty is quite a trip.

I guess I feel its time I tell you why I'm here. I found grex to be a freindly place full of helpful people. I can't say the same for my exprience in M-Net. I feel the Grex is like a freindly home town place and like M-Net is like big city. As a result to show my thanks to the warm welcome I wanted to become a part of the comunity rather than just a visitor. Thanks and it good to be here among you nice people.
Well, I have thanks for several people. I feel endebted to robh, steve, scg, tsty, srw, and many more than I could ever remember at one time. I have a special place in my heart reserved for popcorn, though. Without her extensive help, I may not have even been here to write this. Thank you, Valerie. I am forever in your debt.

Yeah..this is old, but hey, I don't think popcorn would mind another "thank you". I remember when I was a newbie on here, and my grex account got hacked and the password was changed by someone I had had an arguement with in party. I sent mail to staff, and it was Valerie Mates here who went outta her way, called my house, left a message to call her, and had me call her up for my assigned password. Thank you, Valerie :) (btw, nice voice...;)
