Anybody has had any experience with acne scars. I have got them on my cheeks and they are sometimes not so prominent while at other times they look real bad. I am male, 24 years. I still get small busrsts of acne. I have been told they can not be removed except by plastic surgery, which i do not want to do. I have heard of dermabrasion and peeling but have got conflicting reports on their effectiveness. Thanks

Would a beard cover that area of your cheeks?
No, my beard area is perfectly alright, it is just beyond those areas that I have scars. Also when I get up from sleep, they are less prominent (although present) than during the day/night.
Have you considered hiding them with makeup?
No. To tell you the truth I don't care too much on how I look to others, but I would care how I look to somebody special! So makeup may not be a very good option!
Well, somebody special probably wouldn't care about acne scars that much. If you're looking for some way to do something to make the scars something you don't have to worry about... maybe just get into weightlifting or some other excercise program. Or learn a musical instrument. Or something... people who are in good shape and have interesting things to talk about are usually much more attractive that people whose only good point is perfect skin.
If you don't care about the look of the scars, other people probably won't notice them except on first meeting you, since it won't affect how you feel about yourself and thus your behavior. So what are you worrying about? You seem to be new to grex, can you tell us anything interesting about yourself? Your name looks like it might be Arabic or at least Muslim, but your English is perfect. I am intrigued. (I am also a linguist.)
Thanks for your suggestions!!! It is uplifitng. and Keesan I am a Muslim but not Arab and yes I am new to grex! and dork is a slang for "stupid"! haha...
I have chatted with people from north India and Bangladesh - is that where you are from originally? Or maybe Indonesia?
