Pluto, Plato, or Neptune: What does Intel call it....???

A salesman insisted that their motherboard itself is called the 
Neptune motherboard made by Intel, but I thought that this is the name
of the Intel chipset for the PCI motherboards. v

I heard that the Intel P 90 motherboard was called Plato and the 
chipset is called Neptune. Is this right?

I wonder if this guy is trying to sell me some lower grade MB w.
the Intel chipset rather than the Intel MB w/ the Intel chipset?

How do you check these things out???
