I just <last week> purcased a SIIG SuperVGA Pro ISA card...it works beautifully in all of my applications except win 3.1 The card came packaged with a program called Win Mode, which supposedly lets you set the video mode in windows, the problem is that whenever I use the program and it restarts windows my computer freezes on a black screen. Afterwards the only way I can get back into windows is to kill the system.ini file and use a backup. any suggestions? <trying to get SIIG tech support is like trying to milk your pet rock, I've been put on hold for 30 minutes twice now, and both times I wind up with the machine thing telling me to call back later then hanging up on me>

We're sorry, all of our customer support representatives are currently assisting other customers... In the process of getting this winmode thing on the machine it installed the windows drivers for the card, right? I'd use the setup program from DOS to make sure it's in vga only mode if not. Then figure out how to install the fancy drivers for the card.
