OK, I know it sounds kind of sick on the surface, but... The Grex Ambassador (that's me; sounds kinda fancy and pompous, don't it? I thought it sounded better when I was unofficial. ;) ) is planning to visit Columbus, OH, sometime next week. You know me. It's a spur of the moment thing. Details are to follow. (ps to hematite: I'll be there well before 10 pm this time. ;) )

If you're an ambassador, where's your portfolio? Have fun!
How do you know he carson doesn't have a portfolio, and maybe even a portmanteau, a portculis, and a porthole?
are you looking for people to go, or are you just making an announcement?
All I'm going to say is: Watch out for those Ohio cops! Believe me...the excuse "I'm from Michigan" does *not* work when they ask you why you were speeding. ;)
I always thought that the "Grex Ambassador" was the terminal hooked to the console. (An Ann Arbor Terminals Ambassador, for those not familiar with it...)
We unofficially named Carson our official Grex ambassador the last time he went visiting an outlying enclave of Grexers.
So he's the unofficial official ambassador?
Thats the way it sounded officially speaking.....
Indubitably!
<hematite faints> you mean, the sun will actually be *shining* when you come?! oh dear...<g>
This item has been linked to the grexohio conference.
there are alot of hot people in ohio...no not sexy hot!!! heat hot!!!! holy shit it's HOT! <not that this has anything to DO with the converstation but i'd just though i'd mention it!>
:)
Okay, as an official member of the GrexOhio Welcoming Committee (formed two
minutes ago), both llan and carson can stay at my house. At this time, I'd
like to go over the rules of the house:
1. All rules may be made up at any given time by rlawson and are always
subject to change.
Bet you can't wait to come down here! Just kidding. :) See you on Monday!
you poor souls....you have to stay with robert....poor poor people....oh well
hehe, yep, teh cops in columbus arent as bad.i mean..tehy do have better things to do, like homicides, etc..but come anywhere near where i live, westerville, and, hell, the whole damn town is a speed trap..i swer it!
at this moment, it looks like llan and I will leave Ann Arbor around 8 am on Monday. We are to first visit rlawson, and afterwards make our way to DeSales (did I spell that right?) by noon. Sometime around 8 pm, we're supposed to meet zeplin at a Kroger. I can let you know more about that later. :)
Wendy may not be able to come anymore so we might not have to go to DeSales. I don't know yet -- I'll keep you posted.
oh, we can still meet her if she can't come along, can we?
Yeah, we can... if we go to her house. It's up to you. Just tell me what you want to do and I'll arrange it. :}
Come to my house! Come to my house! yeah!!! <giggle> I think my mom will let you people come over...i hope
(Wendy - type "!use_gate" to turn on word wrap for your picospan responses! Then exit from bbs and go back in again, for it to take effect.)
uhmmmm...
Carson, after this trip will you have met enough new Grexers to renew your bet with Valerie about who has won the most? I really want to see a Grex-off!
Sorry about that Valerie, I wasn't paying attention to it, usually I try to not make it funky..sorry about that!
re #20: heh.
re #25: Valerie couldn't remember half the Grexers she's met. :) (it's not
likely, though.)
Carson still won't have been to McKendree.
ah, but I've pribly met more memorable people. how many McKendree logins do *you* remember? :)
Quite a few, actually?
I have you all beat!!! I am *sure* that *I* can remember the most McKendree logins. =) And I drove the longest distance to visit them, too! <birdy awards herself the prize> <g>
but Sarah, you've never met avi. I'm told that that event alone qualifies me for "coolest user online." :)
You've met avi? Cool! I've only talked to him on the phone (and that for about 45 seconds, total). Cool!
Wait a minute! Aren't you suppossed to be in Ohio, carson?
back from ohio now =)
Did the car hold up alright? <g>
:*
How'd it go?
well, "it" has a car, and a driver's license, not to mention that "it" had a full tank of gas and sunglasses.
