Grex Grexohio Item 6: Deadline for Nominations

Nominations for officer positions must be turned in by Fri, Aug 18, 1995.
Elections are to be held Mon, Aug 21, 1995, by e-mail. I will post more
information closer to the voting date. So far, there is only one person
running for each available position. Here are the nominees thus far:

        Vice-president:         Sean (decaff) Caffrey
        Secretary:              Keri (sidekick) Taylor
        Treasurer:              Jim (dynamo) Thompson

To this effect, I have named the above persons temporary officers. Unless
someone else decides to nominate themselves or someone else, they will become
the new officers. If you would like to nominate someone (including yourself),
do so below. Your nomination will have to be seconded by another member.

 * We now have a contender for the office of Vice-president!
 * Our Secretarial nominee has dropped out of the race!

With these changes, the new list of nominees is as follows:

        Vice-president:         Sean (decaff) Caffrey
                                Megan (freedom) Wyatt
        Secretary:              <none>
        Treasurer:              Jim (dynamo) Thompson

The deadline for nominations isn't until Aug 18! Nominate a friend (or
yourself) while there's still time!!! For a description of officer duties,
please e-mail 'grexohio'.

 * Another drop-out? Sean Caffrey has decided not to run for office.

        Secretary:              <none>
        Treasurer:              Jim (dynamo) Thompson

We need a secretary!!!  A nomination has yet to be filled. It's an easy
job! Write to 'grexohio' for details. Nomination deadline is 4 days away!!!

In regards to response number 4, don't worry, Megan. I have most of your
information as it is. Whenever you can return in, that would be great! :)

The cut-off date for nominations was Fri, Aug 18, 1995 (23:59). Thanks to all
who decided to run for an office! Since there was only one candidate per
office, I'd like to congratulate our new officers!!!

Robert, I hate to say it, but I'm so amused by all of this.....
but really, I"m pround of you and your efforts....er, proud.
Can I be a grexohio member even if I"m not in Ohio? (Actually, maybe I 
shouldn't ask; when you live in Florida you get used to being out of
reach.....

        Have you figured out who I am yet?  <=  (that <--- should give it
away.)

Erinn, GrexOhio members do indeed need to live within the state of Ohio.
