In about 3 weeks I am leaving Ann Arbor, and tenetivly coming through
Columbus... At 1:10 im the morning. I learned that my route would be:
Toledo, Bowling Green, North Baltimore, Marion, Delaware, Columbus,
Chillicothe, Portsmouth, Ashland KY, Huntington WV, Charleston, Beckley.
I would like to see the sun rise over the Kanawa Valley, and IF the
weather is clear, that's exactly what I'll be seeing.
Any of you Ohio types up for a little meeting and photo session at the bus
station at 1 in the morning? I'll be coming back 3 weeks later, and I would
like to spend 1 day in Columbus, seeing the sights, and maybe taking a tour
of the Amazing Domeless State Capitol.

1 in the morning?! *blink* I barely got out of bed before noon today...
Um, sorry, one in the morning is a *little* early for me... try back say maybe when I become a vampire? =)
You Ohio Types are a weird lot. I'm only stopping for maybe 30 minutes, and that's only because the bus will need gas. What? Does Columbus really get dead come that time of the morning? I'd really like to meet the lot of you. Oh well, maybe on the way home. <sigh>
Omni, you have to offer them a bus-side *party* - build that, and they will come.....
Well..I'm usually up around that time...(Now, it's up to me convincing my parents to letting me leave the house past 11... (:>
Well maybe if I had a cell phone and extra money, I would order pizza from Bo's place. ;)
(There is also that stupid curfew that Columsbus has..I don't know if they enforce it though..)
I've never been out that late to tell Wendy =)
I guess I could come through on an earlier bus, but I'd be missing my sunrise over the Kanahwa valley, and since I might not make it back to WV for a while, I want to make this one special. My plans include a stop for 12 hours in Charleston. While there I hope to see the city, and the state capitol complex inc the State Museum, The Executive Mansion and The State Capitol building. I also hope to find an authentic, west virginia style breakfast with grits and all that. Y'all have to eat grits when you're south of the Mason-Dixon Line. (I believe that that was one of the conditions of statehood that Lincoln outlined in 1863) ;)
Omni, it's not that we Ohioans don't stay up past sunrise... it's just that none of us (well, except Megan and Audra) have transportation, or parents lenient enough to drive us into Columbus at 1 a.m. :)
sunrise? I meant sunset :)
Then I guess I will see you all on my trip back. ;)
