Yes, it *is* a little late for this item, but I'm sure we can squeeze in a few Grex walks before the official end of Summer, September 22nd. This is the item to talk about when, where, and what to do at these walks. At this point, at least for the first month, the walks will be biweekly. After the Summer walks, the walks will commence again in the Spring.

We could either have the first walk on Aug 26 or Sept 2. I will be out of town on *both* of those dates! Ugh! It's up to you people because I won't be here. As to what time and where, it's up to you again. But I will help organize, if you want. :)
Well, up in the Grex land of Ann Arbor, we walk year round, even in the super cold weather. Are you all going to be separated by then?
1) Ohio is *not* included in the Grex land of Ann Arbor. 2) We Ohioians have very hectic schedules and though I'm sure that GrexOhio will *NOT* seperate, I'm not sure how many of our Grexers would attend walks in the Autumn or Winter months. Thank you anyways, scott, for your comments!
Maybe you could establish Grex drives, driving around a scenic area. It would be faster, and much warmer in the winter! Just a tad less social is all.... :)
Everybody get CB radios...
Better yet, everyone bring a laptop in their car and we could all telnet to Grex and chat in a party channel about the beautiful scenery!!! :) Whatchya think? <g>
We are just starting out... perhaps we will continue our walks through-out the entire year. I'm waiting for more user input.
Note: not only is the 22nd the end off summer, but it is the start of a _NEW_ X-Files season!!! <just thought youd like to know...>
I knew you were going to say that, Emma! :) Maybe we can have an X-Files party?
Hmm... since the first GrexOhio walk was supposed to have already taken place, did I miss something, or did it fall through? If I just missed it, then I'll be mad. If it fell through, then I'll just have to make the next one :)
No, Keri, it was never rescheduled. We are still *trying* to organize the first Grex walk in Ohio.
i say everyone can come watch megan, that's me, work at the great american bagel that day since she NEVER GETS A DAMNED WEEKEND OFF!!AAAAAAAAH! anyone up for some bagels!!!??? (not!!)
Are you okay Megan?? <g>
Re #12: Alright, Megan, I'm coming! I'll visit you tomorrow at work after school! (you best get the order right!!) Just remember, Megan dear, you DID ask for this!!!! <evil grin>
YOU WEREN'T THERE!!! YOU CALLED OF SICK, EH? HOW DARE YOU!! That's okay though because I told them you were faking!!! Ha ha! <g>
Even though i have a feeling i'm not welcome here, i just thought you all'd like to know that the new X-Files season is cool....and it's too cold for a grex walk....i'm, freezing my butt off here....hummm....*sigh*
hhhhhhhhhhuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmm.................it's suposed to be warm this week end...for a change.....maybe we could do something <like you could all come to my house and i'd make you all watch X-Files!> ;)
Or we could have a Notre Dame party. =) <notre dame is going to win!>
<robert laughs at wendy>
<anecdote falls to the ground laughing> I truly can't see any team in the nation beating O-state this year. Rose Bowl here we come. #1 in the nation!!!
<robert is beginning to like anecdote>
I hate living Ohio. Surrounded by Ohi fans. BLECH! well, my school can't be all bad, seeing as how the majority of people were rooting for Notre Dame.. I can't beleive they lost.
Wendy, no offense, but the number of fans rooting for a particular team does not create points for a football team. Football is not a popularity contest (unless your trying to determine a national champion for division 1 NCAA). The reason ND lost to O-state was because they were out sized, out muscled, and out coached; those being the three main reasons. Talent, execution, and preparation are other reasons Nd suffered a loss to O-state. Please trust me, I'm 21 years young and I've been around this game for all my life, I've played the game for more than 12 seasons and been on a team that has won a National Championship. (University of Findlay 1992, NAIA Division II National Champs) Robert, sorry I'm not that kind of guy,<anecdote is purely heterosexual>
<robert thinks paul misunderstood robert terribly>
looks like anecdote has alot of time on hand...WWWWEEEEEE i love these tapes wendy-lady made for me!!!! crap...to much homework...Gonzo can't sing.. oh well....OH I GOT A STARFLEET UNIFORM!!!!!!!!!! :) BTW: at starbase columbus there is an autographed picture of John deLance for 10 bucks...and me...broke....oh well....
Some people just don't understand my sense of humor..<sigh>
You call *that* humor!!!!! <jk>
<anecdote apologises to all whom might have taken even the slightest offense to #23> everyone must realize how long I have been around football and how serious I take it. I admit, I often take it way too serious, but if Iit wasn't for football I would have never been able to get a college degree.
this went from about a get to gether, to a football debate..intersting!!!
some people just can't stay on topic can they freedom? *sigh*
Hey... I'm just waiting for someone to talk about a Grexwalk.
Robert, I want to go on a GrexWalk! <whine, whine> (I hate living in MI. And I hate living in FL. Ican't win. Maybe I"ll come live w\ you, how's that?)
