This conference exists as a public forum for discussion ideas and options
for technical improvements in Grex.
- If you have ideas for improvements to Grex's software, post them here.
- If you have found bugs in our software, post them here.
- If you have questions about how Grex works, post them here.
- If you'd like to work on some project, tell us about it here.
This conference overlaps slightly with a few other conferences. Please
think about whether what you want to talk about might fit better in:
coop - Discussion of what Grex's goals should be and in what ways they
should be pursued. Some technical changes could drastically change
the nature of Grex, and need to be discussed in coop to decide if
we want to do them. Other things, like making Grex run faster, or
providing friendlier interfaces are pretty non-contraversial and
fit better in the garage. Coop is generally aimed at a less
technically oriented readership.
jellyware - General programming and unix subjects, which are not
specifically related to Grex.
staff - Closed conference accessible only to staff which is used for
coordinating day-to-day staff activities, and discussions of
security issues.
We hope this can be fun and productive. Thanks.

The garage conference was restarted recently. For older material, join "garage1". The restart approximately coincides with the move to the new OpenBSD based computer. The previous version of the conference was most about the old Sun systems.
And if you find security holes , DON'T post them here for everyone to read ;)
Using "!change" won't let me save my updated settings. Also, the 484-0512 number isn't answering. Thank you.
Since this cf was rolled around the beginning of 2005, possibly it would be
well to change the login banner to not say:
NOTE: THIS CONFERENCE WAS JUST RESTARTED.
Join "Garage1" to access the old version of & stuff in this conference.
Good idea.
Response not possible - You must register and login before posting.
