Hi, I want to build endowment fund for Grex in overseas fund. (european bank). Is this possible and comply with IRS rule? What about TAX problems? Should we invest in Swiss Franc or Gold? Regards (AW)

This probably ought to be entered in coop where Grex governance and finances are discussed, or it could be linked to there. I don't see any problems with IRS or taxes. It should be possible to do this, providing you can round up enough money in Europe to start it. Gold doesn't generate any income, and is a purely defensive investment. I wouldn't use it. You could buy bank CDs in Swiss francs, or European Bonds, which would probably generate more income, as long as you didn't get junk bonds, which would be too risky.
