Self-Made Man, by Norah Vincent, 2006 Just finished reading this fascinating chronicle of one womans 18-month journey as a man. She got a job in a high-pressure male sales force, bowled with a men's team, went on retreat at an all male-monastery, dated, went to T&A clubs, and, with her men's group, went on their annual "Iron John" week. Her insights into what the culture does to men were particularly interesting when she was talking about understanding misogyny. Well worth reading for any feminist.

PS thanks to whoever included that book in the book exchange!
I'd love to read the book sometime, too. She was on some show awhile back, discussing the book and it seemed fascinating.
"Dick Like Me"?
I really enjoyed the book. I liked the bowling chapter a lot. I also liked some of the men's reactions when she told them. I also liked some of the dating chapter.
