There was a scene in the movie "Bend It Like Beckham" in which one of 
the Brit soccer girls plays a WUSA highlights video for her friend, by 
way of explaining why she wants to go to college in the US.  The other 
girl watches the video for a minute, then says: "They *have* that??"  
Now, the answer would have to be, "Um, actually, no, they don't."

Sad, but true.  However, girls can still get a a good education with their
footie skills.
