My fear is that each blade of grass out there on the lawn is a space alien and that one of these nights all of these aliens will rise up and conquer us all. The upside: No more federal, state, and local taxes. What is your fear? What is its upside?

Well, I am not afraid of the lawn. I figure that the lawn will remember all those times I didnt mow it and make me it's Queen. I am afraid that the world's mice will take over and kill all of the cats in the world.
That's a reasonable fear. But what is the upside? There must be one.
resp:2 There is only an upside if you are a mouse or like mice more than you like cats.
Nonsense. An obvious upside: All the money saved on cat food and litter.
Right. And the cat overcrowding problem at the Humane Society will be solved once and for all.
There ya go!
Mice don't purr though
Mice do indeed purr, but at a pitch outside the range of human hearing.
All I know is that mice suck and Little Bunny Foo Foo is my freaking *hero*!
I have a new fear. I fear that the next time I download software over the internet, the programmer who wrote it will be downloaded as well, and then I will be responsible for feeding him or her. The upside is that I will have someone to do software development for me.
I have yet another new fear. I fear that no one will read this item and it will be as if I were speaking into an empty hollow chamber, my voice echoing back to my ears alone. The upside is that I will devote less time to this item and thus will have more time to read the complete novels of William Dean Howells.
Have no fear.
Yeah, it isnt like a fear of flying or anything. Ok, grex crashes sometimes but the difference is that when grex crashes, no one dies.
Each time Grex crashes, all the users die a little inside. But that is grist for another mill. I have a new fear. I fear that velcro bedsheets and pajamas may become fashionable. This would lead to various awkwardnesses. The upside is that one is less likely to fall out of bed.
I have a fear that one day I will try to login to Grex and will be redirected to the Grex MySpace page. The upside would be I could quit trying to find the time to login to Grex. ;-)
I like facebook better too
