Ah, but no.  That is three things, and a pretzel is one thing fashioned

I always fashion my pretzels from a single snaky roll of dough, twisted
and knotted in traditional fashion, by hand.  Perhaps I simply confused
them with sweaters.  

Ah but there is *process*, and there is *result*.  The latter is my
concern here.
