The day the animals played football with the humans is a day that will live long in the memory of all the townsfolk yessirree bob that's for sure and will be recorded in the chronicles of the town so that future generations will long remember and remark upon it and tell their children and their children's children and their children's children's children unto the third generation yessirree bob it is a day not soon to be forgotten and it will be remarked upon in commencement addresses at the high school where they march in dressed in cap and gown to the immortal strains of pomp and circumstance yessirree bob and even the little kiddies romping on their blue rubber horsies in the backyard swimming pools will laugh and talk about it and play pretend that it is happening again and at the fourth of july concert in the band shell at the park they will play a piece composed especially to commemorate the event it is appropriate activity in this quote civilized unquote society of ours to single out those times that we have achieved our best for special remembrance in the hope that our best can serve as a model for the generations to come it does not always work but we can hope
