Which makes me recall an incident during our trip to Fort Myers:
we, 7 adults and 3 children, took a ride on a miniature train
(maybe a 8 inch gauge) in a city park, which went past miniature
villages with lots of Xmas lights etc (all irrelevant to the story),
which induced me to start singing "I've been working on the railroad",
so we returned to the Station "strumming on the old banjo". As we
disembarked, the elderly engineer who had built, and drove the train,
asked: "What was that song?"

Good. Now sing one in harmony.

I had not occurred to me that the "engineer" might have been sarcastic B^P.

You know, it's good to see in today's troubled times, people can still pull
together and remind us, through song if it may be, that most of us really
are sick.

Re #1: did you like Ft. Myers? (Just asking....I live there, when I'm not
at school.)

I guess the discussion of the roundalay has subsided.....so, on the
serious subject of if I liked Ft. Myers. No. Its monotonous. The one thing
it offers that I could really enjoy is sailing, but I have no contacts for
that. I go there because most of my wife's relatives gather there for
Xmas, and I go along to be helpful. But I bring a laptop, ham-radio HT,
and lots of reading and new software to explore. I do get a lot done,
because it is one of the few periods most things I have to do can't be
done. I guess that is what a "vacation" is.
