Since this is the "Thanks Rane!" Item, I think I'm permitted to
suggest a continuing use for it - to enter what carl started it for:

                "The best laugh I've had all day..."

The best laugh *I* had all day, was at myself, and it is described
in the MacLayers Item, response 24, in micros. In short, while running
on the modem to my office, I felt a sudden need to telephone someone
there, so picked up the phone....(and we have only one line).
