The students were in their seats, awaiting the arrival of their instructor. A hush fell over the room as they all stared in the direction of the setting sun. This behavior was most peculiar, as the classroom had no windows.

Maybe they all had Psionics...
One of my teachers, who has a windowless classroom door, had a picture up on the door for a while with the caption "if there were a window..." It showed people doing all sorts of strange things in the classroom, and was surrounded by what looked like a window frame (this was before he painted the actual door). Could there have been a picture of the sun on the wall?
wow, sounds like EMU.
You don't have to see the sun to stare in its direction.
True, You just need a watch an a compass.
You don't need to stare in the sun's direction to see it.
You can always use a mirror. Best is the kind that will take all the sun's light and focus it all right on your eye.
Why, so you can fry it out?!
How'd you guess?
Kind of obvious the way things were going.
Hooked on Psionics?
Speaking of Psionics, SOMEONE gave me a psionic hug which I wished to resist. For some reason, even though I knew the source, I could not repel the psionic energy.
Don't'cha hate it when that happens.....
I ought to cut out your heathen Saxon tongue.
This is getting dull, much like your wits. Please be quiet, Vid.
At least I'm not haughty like some people I know. However, I'm going to learn Old Norse so that no one will ever know what I'm saying while I write curses in the Norse futhark.
Will anyone care? No.
I think people will care if I carve curses on public buildings. It's illegal, ya' know.
*yawn*
and, on second thought, bring the undertaker with you.
ha!
You obviously do want a physical fight, so why are you being such a wimp. I'll defeat you psionically if I must.
I think not.
I really have no more reason to respond to this. I have to see this to believe it. As I said in the other item, jasmine and I are working toward a more mature settlement, and would appreciate it if you kept you haughty lil' immature comments out!
