hey tod, thanks for being the first user to input something in this
official conference.

does that router work allright?

#2 of 15 by tod on Mon Jun 5 23:42:21 2006:

The router works nicely. I used it for a long time..then tried to donate it
to Grex but they couldn't get anybody to volunteer to hook it up so I had them
send it back. If it sells eventually then any profit will go to Grex.

grex should have a member donated ebay account, and all profit could
go to grex.

i know they did the auction on here a while back, but dont know how
well it did.

<btw: im 100% willing to do the FW spot on the grex auction on here if
it's ever done again.>

i just listed a bunch of stuff for sale.
its either gonna go on ebay, or its going in a box untill august when
my aunt has her yearly garage sale.

#7 of 15 by slynne on Wed Jun 14 21:37:32 2006:

yeah, I really should get my act together and start to sell stuff on
ebay. It seems like a decent way to get rid of stuff and I have too much
stuff.

if your smart and dont ask for too much money, you can literaly sell
anything...

#9 of 15 by slynne on Thu Jun 15 03:34:59 2006:

Yeah, well that is good news.

#10 of 15 by fuzzball on Thu Jun 15 03:39:00 2006:

i always think of the fact that i would have no money if it sits in a
box. but some money if it sells.
i kinda go about my ebaying as if it was a huge garage sale. :)

I think part of the issue is that I dont want to bother with packaging
and shipping everything. I have considered taking everything to one of
those places that will do the whole thing for a cut of the profits. Has
anyone ever used one of those places?

#12 of 15 by fuzzball on Fri Jun 16 02:37:21 2006:

my friend has.
he says they get it sold pretty well, but unless its something pricey
like a laptop, tv or whatever, the cut can be a dragdown...
ive also heard you can have items appreaised in those shops, then use
that to sell at a suggested price.

there was one guy in ann arbor who ran an ebay sell-it-for-a-cut service, but
he wouldn't take anything worth less than $100

#15 of 15 by fuzzball on Fri Aug 11 16:07:47 2006:

ive sold stuff that was my friends/coworkers/relatives
i usualy ask for like 10% of the winning amount. while its only a few
bucks, i help them, and get a couple dollars in spending money.
