is the average wait time after you win an item inportant? to me, i would rather wait, and get the item in good shape that get it really fast and possibly damaged. only reason i ask is ive won a few things last week, some for me, some as gifts, and im sick of waiting. call me impatient, but UG!

I usually snipe, pay as soon as the auction is over, and then wait for the US mail to do its stuff. Usually takes a week or 10 days from the time I win until it arrives in my hands. Sellers usually give me a tracking number within 24 hours of winning, so the lag is primarily in the delivery system. Speed = cost in this instance. Good shape arrival is in the hands of the seller, since they package the things.
true. and i pay within 4 hours of winning all my items. and i ship the day after or 2 days at most. i usualy have them packaged minus a bit of tape and and address, then have USPS pickup or drop it off on the way to work. i asked a few other people on one item, they said it takes her a while to mail out items, up to 2 weeks from end of auction... oh well.
