Let's return to the original ideas that started this conference in the first
place. I've re-posted some of the early writings of our illustrious King to
remind everyone of the very beginning. Welcome Back!

<< To clarify, the court is is place to act as an extension of the noble
aspect of yourself. This is not roleplaying, exactly. Be yourself, maybe
amplified a tiny bit. [Item 3, Sat, Apr 1, 1995]

Proposal 1: a continuation of the pagan tea house (of America Online Fame)
a pllace for pagans [and others] to tallk. no subjects allowed, tea served
occationally. much like synthesis, but the idea being that it is not for
discussion of religion, merely a place for us...to chat and also free synthesi
of some load by bringing more casual (enigmalike) comments here.
Proposal 2: The Court of King Fuzzy (Ph.D.) This could take ome explaining.
a small court (19) has started over a comment i once made. Now we wanto to
spreak the word. [Item 6, Wed, Jun 8, 1994]

The court started when watching a shakespeare play (Brannaugh's Henry V) when
i, big mouth in full power mode, said i could be a better king than he, so
whats the big deal? the big deal then began when a friend took me up on it.
she named me: "DrFuzzy, King of the Internet." for me, that just wouldn't do.
nor was it right for me to rule something a friend, a hacker in earnest, had
better control over. SO I wrote myself (and 17 others at the time) titles.

Enter, His Most Unclear Highness, King Fuzzy I (Ph.D)
 King of The Interrealms,
 Emperor of The Outer Stars,
 Duke of Nova Hampshira,
Holder of the Grail of Unreason,
and of the Rings of Chaos and Disruption.

The court is arranged roughly feudally, with myself, two princes, two
Counsels, six lords (of various title), four ladies, a general, four
ambassadors, an Entropic advisor, keepers of countless items of power, and,
The Shadow Queen. Many have more than one title, as was so years ago.
What we do is simple. I wish to increase my dominion, although my control
is always as i wish it- weak and incomplete. i have no wish to be overbearing,
and in some ways i hope to be respected as was the Emperor of The United
States, a great man who needed only greater recognition. i hope with the
internet i may do the same.
While we are not as yet affiliated with the SCA, we are somewhat like them
in that out court is styled after those of the past (mostly England and
rarely, the orient.) We hold court at all of out parties, title is read on
arrivalast is to be had by all.
strangely, i am often the cook. soon, we wil add a new institution or two
to the court. among them is the tournement sheduled for this summer. an
outdoor feast will accompany a mock sword, quarterstaff, and possibly more
assorted weapons tounement with
one final victor and smaller, praise only, prizes awarded in specific fields.
after, if needs be, High Court will be held to settle disputes. [Item 6, Sat,
Jun 11, 1994]>>

Why princes and not possibly princesses Hmm? Let's not be sexist now..
(Will read it more thoroughly later)

#3 of 32 by elwin on Thu Jul 15 20:44:33 1999:

wow, five years ago. brings back memories. never could deal with the court in
real life. not really here, either. too much play pretend.

#4 of 32 by mooncat on Sat Jul 17 17:31:56 1999:

Play pretend is good for the soul... It's not like any of us think it's
real.

#5 of 32 by pope on Sat Jul 17 17:36:49 1999:

Speaking of "any of us" where are the rest of "us"?

#6 of 32 by mooncat on Sun Jul 18 16:30:06 1999:

Most of them have gone away and no longer grex.

#7 of 32 by elwin on Tue Jul 20 21:55:09 1999:

you'd be suprized, miss anne.

#8 of 32 by mooncat on Wed Jul 21 13:40:55 1999:

Hmph, that's Lady Anne to you. <winks>

#9 of 32 by cyberpnk on Wed Jul 21 17:59:14 1999:

I'd be careful; Lady Anne has a vampire at her beck and call ready to defend at
a moment's notice....

#10 of 32 by mooncat on Thu Jul 22 12:59:25 1999:

<Lady Anne smiles at Lord Malkavian>

#11 of 32 by cyberpnk on Sat Jul 24 17:05:17 1999:

Ever at your service, my dear...
<Lord M executes a courtly bow towards Lady anne>

You called?

#15 of 32 by elwin on Wed Aug 4 00:11:46 1999:

speaking of having one's feet on the ground...

#16 of 32 by mooncat on Wed Aug 4 12:49:56 1999:

Keep your feet on the ground, but keep reaching for the stars... Right?

#17 of 32 by cyberpnk on Sat Aug 7 21:37:32 1999:

Shouldn't that be Good Goddess?......

#18 of 32 by mooncat on Sat Aug 7 22:42:57 1999:

Well yes, but I'm not *always* overly picky... As long as my status as
a deity is recognized it's okay...

#19 of 32 by cyberpnk on Tue Aug 10 22:24:04 1999:

Hey! I'm your Prime Acolyte! I'll ALWAYS recognize your status as a deity!
<Lord M worships Lady Anne>

#20 of 32 by mooncat on Wed Aug 11 03:33:06 1999:

<smiles benificiently and nods> I know you are, and thus I smile upon you.

#21 of 32 by cyberpnk on Sat Aug 14 22:08:54 1999:

<Lord M basks in the glow of Lady Anne's divinity>
Thank you, my Goddess...;)

#22 of 32 by mooncat on Sat Aug 14 22:52:58 1999:

<nods> You are most welcome.

#23 of 32 by wavestar on Mon Aug 30 14:39:50 1999:

Elwin, don't you think you're taking this a wee little bit more3 seriously
than the rest of us? Anne and Malkavian have thier feet on the ground.. they
just look around and laugh more often than some. The idea was never that we
believe we're princes, princessess, ladies or lords, with whatever that
entails, (which isn't much these days) but that we could see the noble spirit
of a lady or a lord in our friends.. albeit a silly one. Do try and lighten
up.
Lady Wavestar the Blue

#24 of 32 by mooncat on Mon Aug 30 17:47:45 1999:

Here here lady! <applauds Lady Wavestar>

#25 of 32 by cyberpnk on Tue Sep 28 16:46:20 1999:

Hmmmm.....Mooncat, would you mind wavestar being the second deity in my
pantheon? ;) <Lord M bows to wavestar>

#26 of 32 by mooncat on Tue Sep 28 17:57:40 1999:

<thinks about it> No... I suppose not. <smiles>

#27 of 32 by pope on Sun Oct 3 06:57:01 1999:

She's gone and upgraded to deity? Oh dear... <grins evilly>

#28 of 32 by elwin on Fri Oct 15 01:45:19 1999:

nog, patron_saint v4.0 simply wasn't cutting it.

#29 of 32 by wavestar on Sat Oct 16 02:44:16 1999:

Since when was I ever that?
I've been a goddess for years.

#30 of 32 by cyberpnk on Tue Oct 19 16:10:39 1999:

Mooncat, Wavestar, hmm.....
Who Can I pick to complete the trinity?
Any suggestions?

#31 of 32 by mooncat on Wed Oct 20 14:16:31 1999:

Hmm... we have cat (animal) waves and stars... a sun thing maybe? <laughs>

#32 of 32 by wavestar on Thu Oct 21 18:47:30 1999:

I know of a sun god, but I don't know how well he fits into your idea of a
goddess trinity, Malkie...
*grin*
*sigh*
