And after the elections, what then? It's still worth the time to call *now* and tell your legislators that you don't want this coming back *ever*.
Interestingly, the Senate Judiciary Committee, which Leahy chairs,
has a web site on which anyone can post a public message concerning
this legislation. See

Several dozen messages are posted there. They are OVERWHELMINGLY
against the CBDTPA.

don't you love how they give these things longer and longer names with a confusingly LONG abbreviation so it's difficult to even talk about. they should name it Entertainment Industry Fucks Everyone Up the ASS EIFEUA
