Bad cmos battery? How does your os respond? Is it Windoze or Linux?

I have both windows and linux, but neither of them are causing the problem.
I had this problem even when i first built my computer. It could be a bad
CMOS battery though. I think there is just some kind of conflict between my
motherboard and graphix card.

Is th GeForce AGP or PCI? If it is PCI then yoo have a resource conflict if
it is an AGP card then check the chipset for compatability issues and a
possible patch
