This meeting will be held at Mark Conger's House

I will be adding an agenda item for the Board to adopt the three-level
list of access, and a social validation scheme for implementing it,
including the appointment of semi-staff. If you'd like to nominate
yourself or someone to semi-staff please do so.

Informally, jadecat, denise, bhelliom, and perhaps someone else,
indicated they'd be willing.

I would be willing to act as semi-staff, if called upon to do so.

FYI: there's a slim chance I might be a bit late dialing into the meeting this
evening, due to a military service obligation. I clocked how long it took
me to get home from the base yesterday, and it was around 7:45 when I got to
my apartment. Hopefully, it will be a bit earlier, but I'm not yet sure....
Just a heads up!

How benefical is it for non-board or staff members to attend these board
meetings [for someone that has a general interest in grex and how the
behind-the-scene workings are]?

I think it is very beneficial for non-board members to attend,
especially when we have a lot of controversial stuff to talk about, as I
guess we do this month.

(Beneficial for whom, Denise? For Grex? Very. For J Random User? Depends
upon the user. ;)

Speaking as a board member, I always find it helpful when non-board
members show up, and welcome their contributions to the discussion. If
Denise has anything she'd like to put on the table, then actually
showing up is probably the best way to do it. If she just wants to have
a better idea of how decisions get made, then that works too.

And speaking as a non-board member who attends board meetings from time to
time, you'll find you are welcomed and your comments considered. It's a
very open and informal process. And if that isn't enough, there is
usually food. ;-)

Ok, I'll start showing up from time to time, too. Cool!
