This the thread where you post links to places/web-sites/communities that we need to get in touch with - where we dish out flyers (electronics version included). It hast to be specific BUT no one must jump the gun and distribute the stuff in a sporadic fashion - It has to be done simultaneously. It would be preferable if you also decided beforehand what you are going to say by posting that too.. (suggestions are welcome) If you feel someplace is inappropriate, feel free to say so (but first visit the link). **This will give me some idea about how to make the flyers more attractive and noticeable eg: you could decide to post one in your local bakery - might make sense to highlight the fact that we offer free/cheap web-design and personal home-pages, in which case we would need to make it less the hacker box.. The flyer can be found here: http://arbornet.org/~veek/Grex%20Web/flyer/ index.html please check again BUT don't print!! just preview and content! Dan said 100MB disk space/user.. what else?? Example: CrackZ__@hotmail.com http://www.woodmann.com/crackz/ He's the site-admin. A lot of the site is content and it's very comprehensive - wiki, board-software. Thing is we don't compete with them, since we offer Unix access - so i'm thinking of targetting

Veek, can you change the dues on this flyer? With the recent voting, it's been changed to $2.00/month or $18/year. If you pay for at least 3 months at a time, you'll be able to vote in elections.
yup! will do, thanks denise
are there any advantages to membership besides voting..? outbound traffic? irc-bots?
what about an unemployment exchange.. is there an angle to that.. I could do a couple of template-resumes that double as a website? I mean it's already done.. I'll just use the flyer and stick a photo, remove the borders.. and the body is your resume.. BUT how many pages.. what kind of fields would you need.. do students looking for a job visit such places.. what do their resumes look like. It should be made easy enough to quickly do and yet look great.. do ppl print resumes back to back or on separate sheets?
In the new version cited in #0 the inner frame (around "Services") extend beyond the main outer frame for some window widths. That is, as I expand the window, the inner frame is initially within it, but then goes out and back in as I widen the window. However the print preview keeps a proper format.
that sounds about right :p (if it's for browsing) apparently for a table, if the window size is made way too small for proper rendering (when all hope is lost for that table) it just sticks out.. most all elements do that.. it shouldn't stick out on a reasonable sized window.
As I expand the window from 0% of the screen width, I don't get the full content in the window until about 23%. It stays OK until 56%, when the inner frame leaps out to the right. The inner frame goes back in at 77%, then jumps out again at 85% and stays out to the full screen width. Rather peculiar.....
more advetising will takde place after hte webneusre is up to date, wich, thakfully, cross is dong righ tnow.
i;ll check in a bit, but it seems that newuser is repaired .. now we -all- can 'advertise' grex confidntly ... tnx cross! ,
