Please encourage old users to come back to grex! Many in the grex community have social ties with grexers who have become idle, or otherwise left the community. Please encourage them to come back! Wouldn't it be cool if some of those old school grexers started logging in again? Talk to your friends, and encourage them to come back!

What if they talk us into leaving instead?
Then phoey!
kas , apara , (carson) , garfield if you are reading this please come back !
There are a number of grexers I'd love to see come back though I don't have any contact with them to ask them back. I wonder if some kind of 'recruitment/retention' campaign could get more people active in the system [former grexers as well as new ones] could work somehow. Maybe go through some of the profiles [or something] of former people and see if there's any other contact info/email addresses/whatever and then the recruitment committee can send out an update about grex and an invite to come back and check us out. This is probably a bit idealistic but heck, if we could devise some kind of plan, I'd be willing to help with it.
I think that's a pretty good idea, actually. A lot of these users have .forward files and other such things.
I miss md.
Perhaps we can steal a page from the credit card/banking industry playbook. "We have noticed there has been no action in your account for six months. Therefore, we will begin assessing a $10 inactivity fee every month."
Regarding #6; Then by all means send md some email and ask md to come back.
re #1 Exactly
Maybe link this to Agora?
How many of the earlier grexers still live in the AA area? Perhaps we can find out addresses and send them a letter/invitation, encouraging them to pay us another visit? I know Valerie's still in the area; I know that there was some reason she stopped coming here [though I don't know why]. I miss her and would love to her participating again.
I come back from time to time. I guess I'm a little late for this thread.
Don't feel bad. Only me and a few others were waiting for your response.
