If you're interested in gently used (ie "recycled" so to speak, Once Upon a Child is a pretty good bet. You can get an idea of how well the clothes will hold up, too, because the flimsy ones that disintegrate after two washings never make it there. ;) Value Village can also be a surprisingly good source. Often you find new or almost new clothes at real budget prices.
Land's End has wonderful, all natural materials, baby clothes at relatively reasonable prices. Hope this helps.
Two words of advice to future or current parents of babies and small children: Garage Sales!
My wife usually buys at Once Upon a Child, or we get hand-me-downs from family and friends. but, we also buy from a mail-order place called Hannah Anderson. The Hannah stuff is a bit more pricey, but it is worth every penney of it. Natural (_soft_) fabrics. Mix-and-match styles and colors. Very well made merchandise. When your child out-grows the stuff, you can return it to Hannah for a 20% of the original cost credit toward your next purchase. They then donate them to Hannah-Downs, a charity where they go to really poor areas such as disaster sites, apillacian families living in shacks, etc. Just a few pieces each year serve to augment a childs "wardrobe" rather nicely.

Try Generations, downtown. My wife says they have cute vegetable outfits for little tikes ;-)
