Grex Cars Item 95: the most frustrating... part 2
Entered by mjh16886 on Wed Jan 29 04:28:34 UTC 1997:

A breakthrough!! I've got it!! I used the paper clip trick to get the trouble
codes. After I wrote down the codes, I bought a book about computerised engine
controls. The only thing that hangs me up now is...
How in the h--- do you get an oxygen sensor out of the exhaust manifold? It
seems to be almost welded on. I broke a few good tools in getting it out.
(Even a Craftsman breaker bar broke on me when I use a pipe as leverage. Also
fell on my a--, too. :+) Any suggestions?

The pros use an acetylene torch for jobs like that. Not to cut it off but
to heat it up to the point where it will loosen. Lacking acetylene, try
a MAP gas cylinder in your propane torch. Good luck!

Well, I don't have a torch but I know someone who does.
Thank's, Bud! :-)
