Some thoughts on the demise of the Chrysler New Yorker, which has been a part of the Chrysler line-up in one form or another since 1939 (when Franklin Delano Roosevelt was President and the world was on the brink of war for a second time). The New Yorker had been the oldest model name in continuous production until Chrysler made the announcement yesterday.

Can't say I've ever been a fan of that one. New Yorkers were always big and ugly. I'm glad to see Chrysler coming out of it's "Old" image and coming into a new era.
I'd have a pretty hard time arguing against anything Chrysler does, given their recent success with just about everything.
