So, any advice to all the other 16 year olds out there as to how one acquires such a vehicle at that age?:)
Or as to why I should *want* such a vehicle?
It has terrific torque steer:)
I knew a guy who use to stick the engine from one in his VW bug on weekends.
A Porche joke: Why do they call it a 911? When you wrap it around a telephone pole, the car will dial 911 for you! don't start throwing stuff, now.
why even bother with German cars...DRIVE ITALIAN!!!
As a former owner of a Fiat, I can tell you why not Italian.
What I want to know is if a 914 is really just a VW with a different body. I have heard nothing but scorn for this model- do Porsche owners look down on it as they cruise by in their 928/911/959? No, I don't own a Porsche, I have to lump it in a CRX.
Ok, no Fiat - Try Alfa & Lancia ! (I prefer French FWDs ;) )
While those 2 and Citroen are fabulous cars, I still wouldn't drive through Detroit in one without a spare car.:)
What sort of Fiat did you own Steve? I have owned a 131 Supermirafiori TC and I can tell you it's the toughest and one of the most nervous cars I have rided (besides Alfas of course!) Don't waste time....buy an Alfa....NOW !!
Unfortunately we don't get the cool European mutant cars, mine was a stock 124 spyder. babemobile:)
