Thank you for your thanks ( is that convoluted enough yet?) and I'm
glad to hear we have supporters in places I hadn't considered looking
until so recently.

I would love to come to the Performance Network more often, but
your seats are too danged uncomfortable for me. Sigh.

#7 of 18 by matthew on Tue Dec 15 06:09:38 1992:

When was the last time you were at the theatre. The padded seat
banks were revamped to provide more leg room, they are now
quite comfortable. Drop by sometime & give us your input.

#8 of 18 by mta on Wed Dec 16 00:18:54 1992:

Matthew, for Leslie and I *leg* room is not at issue. Narrow seats are a
real problem. I hate the power center balcony for the same reason.

#9 of 18 by arabella on Fri Dec 18 11:04:17 1992:

The only time I was at Performance Network I had to sit on the
folding chairs down front. The narrowness of the seats was
indeed the main problem (though leg room is also a problem for
me, since I'm 5'10").

I can personally attest that "Not About Heroes"
is a wonderful play. I saw it at the Stratford Festival
(Ontario, not England alas) a few years ago.
It's a must-see. Buy your tickets now!
I mean now! Drop that carrier and run don't Walk!
<How'm I doing Matt?> It really is a good play.

The goodtime mime is wonderful. I need to get over there
again, its been a loooong time.

#16 of 18 by matthew on Fri Jan 1 07:27:10 1993:

Please do come by. I encourage people to get out and see a show
from time to time. I also encourage any interested in the aspects
of theatre you don't see on stage to consider trying their hand
at backstage/pre-production work. We only have 3 in house staff
people and one of them (me) is part time. A lot of the work is
done by volunteers, people like all of you ! (Shameless attempt
to get some new volunteers :) ).
As a matter of fact we're having a mailing party Friday evening
Jan 1, to lable the winter brochure. Any and all are welcome.
It starts at 6 or 7pm (663-0696 for definate time).
We can always use some extra help, so I thank in advance anyone
who may come down to help at ANY time.
