What, me worry? I first read Mad in the early 1950's when it was a 10-cent comic book. Its contributions to pop culture have been enormous. When I've got a bigger block of time than I have right now, I'll try to put together a coherent set of thoughts about that.
There is an alternate discussion on MAD going on in the comics conf. The item is titled "Are You Still Mad About MAD?" It seems to be a good crossreference to this discussion.
