Appollo 13 had a stupid plot, though. It was like Forrest Gump goes t
the moon...only smarter. hum...stuff that is in the theatre...well
I can't think of anything, but there appear to be some interesting
things coming out.

A stupid plot? Um,...

Hold on, blakrose, it was a real event.....
It was a distinctly Amercian experience.
Just because Tom Hanks was in it and in took place in 1970 doesnt mean
it is necessarily "Forrest Gump"

Apollo 13 had a stupid plot? Aside, from minor details they got wrong, the
"plot" was how it really happened. Sometimes reality is stupid, yes, but
that shouldn't be a basis to criticize the movie.

I guess "Schindler's List" must have had a stupid plot, too, eh?
And so predictable! >8)

I just got back from Apollo 13, and can't recommend it highly enough.
I don't remember the crisis when it happened, since I was about
17 months old at the time, and it really gave a sense of immediacy
to something that I've only learned about second-hand.

A lot og good movies in theaters today. Among some I have enjoyed are: Il
Postino, Sense and Sensibility, Get Shorty. My husband enjoyed Heat but it
was much too violent in content for me.
