The same people behind "peaceful" riots, arson, violence and murder are now pressuring corporations to pull ads from facebook until "hate" is censored. Facebook will ultimately capitulate, just like the corporations. What will the end result be? What is "hate"? We can look to our Silicone Valley overlords to tell us. "Hate speech" is the most-abused term in English today, especially because there are so many otherwise reasonable people who unquestioningly accept the validity of its application and the justness of proposed sanctions. That said, I feel schadenfreude to see progressive-biased social media services hoist by their own petard and censor themselves into increasing irrelevance.
Agreed. Now, what can we do to fight being labeled and attacked by giant corporations, NGOs, George Soros, hollywood, news media, the Deep State and half of American voters? Today while brushing my teeth what ran through my head was that after all of my life experience, studying business and looking at the world around me, the one thing that ties everything together is the basic tenants of capitalism: supply and demand, leverage, capital, finite resources, ideas/innovation. Marxism is a lie. They lure useful idiots with utopia and deliver a nightmare. The promise free things and take everything you have. Capitalism isn't something we can argue. It's a natural force. It's jungle law. Nowhere in the natural world in evolution, the animal kingdom or human civilization can anyone escape from supply and demand, leverage, capital, finite resources, ideas/innovation. There are finite resources in the jungle. There is even a supply chain. Seeds fall from trees. Some are eaten, providing nutrients. Some propagate more trees. If there are too many seeds, something will balance this out. Everything in nature operates this way. If there's a too high of a demand for something, there is scarcity. This scarcity informs the jungle "market". The outcome determines who can survive and thrive. Just like in human capitalism. If a species adapts to a scenario to game the system, it dominates. Innovation. Adaptation. Even socialism, communism, monarchies, etc. can't get away from it. There is always a demand for goods and services. The supply chain tends to it. Scarcity determines value. No one can escape! Promises of free food, water, education, medicine, cable TV etc. are all bogus. Someone has to cut the tree, kill the cow, run the power cables, serve the coffee. Basement dwellers won't be reclining in sofas with game controllers while being fed hot pockets. That's the promise. The reality is that under government control, no one owns the sofa. No one gets fed. Everyone is dependent. Everyone lives a life of futility. I know I'm preaching to the choir. I'm just pointing out the inevitability of capitalism and the futility of the promises/lies of snake charmers. And I'm also asking rhetorically why people aren't being told these things and why people continue to fall for the lies.

#37 I had an Alexa echo (the newer round one with the clock) in my bedroom that I was using as an alarm clock. I watched a documentary on The Surveillance Economy and before it was over, had dug up my 1990 Sony Dream Machine and relocated the Echo to my shed in the back yard. My reasoning previously was, "no one is talking much" in around my bedroom but now knowing that it's likely picking up conversations in the hall, knowing what I'm my TV is doing, listening in on my work from home meetings in the next room, etc. I decided enough was enough. I have two phones - one I used for work (I pay for that one) and another for personal. I had already downgraded the home phone to an LG flip classic. On Sunday I ordered a Kyocera Duramax XV flip phone from Verizon for my work uses. I also canceled my Apple Watch cell account on Sunday and I'm now wearing my old Casio G Shock. I'm not leaving the house with a smart phone ever again unless it has no sim, is wifi only (no cell service) and is using VPN. These big tech overlords will only get away with destroying America and our freedoms IF WE LET THEM. I've also started using RSS news feeds a while back rather than opening apps on my tablet. My car has GPS; that should be enough. Canceled Siriux XM for the car in January. Little by little, I'm detaching the strings. I can't get the wife or son to detach from their connections though I can tell you my kid never uses Facebook and the wife hates it now and only occasionally looks at it. Big tech has created a monster and I don't think they realize yet how people despise them. The Lilliputians are surrounded the giant with tiny ropes. I wonder how far down the line it will go before enough Lilliputians grab a rope before it all starts to come undone?
