Post? I prefer to Kellog.

#2 of 123 by raven on Thu Mar 30 20:27:46 1995:

If you read me Lacan I shall have to play The Butthole Surfers * really
loud* while reading Camille Paglia.

#3 of 123 by bunn on Thu Mar 30 21:00:53 1995:

I'm not posting until I can get this system to accept my Pnew Pseud ---
(nobody truly cool posts w/their real names in this conference, for God's sake)

until then I'm lurking around with my old-oft-mispronounced-slavic-ex-married
name..... grrrrrrr

#4 of 123 by raven on Fri Mar 31 06:21:34 1995:

re # 3 If you post a question in the info conf they should be able
to tell you how to set up a pseud, alas I don't know how. :-(

#5 of 123 by krj on Fri Mar 31 07:21:16 1995:

Um, this conference isn't actually about accordions, is it?

I have spent years admiring the work of John Kirkpatrick and more
recently John Jones and Sharon Shannon, and I would love to get an
accordion, but I have never been able to decide which kind I wanted.

#6 of 123 by brenner on Fri Mar 31 08:07:28 1995:

There's an editor at the Whole Earth Review who can help you.

#7 of 123 by nephi on Fri Mar 31 08:42:46 1995:

Type pseudo at the Respond or pass? prompt to change your
name for that response.

Type set name at the Ok: prompt to change your name for all
future responses in this conference.

Now that's not so hard. Is it?

How can Steve Andre be three userid's at the same time?

#23 of 123 by srw on Mon Apr 3 02:43:58 1995:

Elementary. What surprises me is that he lurks from all three.

#24 of 123 by dybevick on Sat Apr 15 23:51:40 1995:

Couldn't leave without saying hello. It was quite the journey to get here.
Back later when my fingers have healed and that whining noise in my ears is
gone.

#25 of 123 by srw on Sun Apr 16 07:07:47 1995:

When you have recovered, we bid you welcome, and would like to point
out one or two local customs. One is that because the text collector
here is not reinforced with a word-wrap feature, like it is on the WEll,
you will want to remember to hit return before your lines get too long.

#26 of 123 by juls on Mon Apr 17 15:49:42 1995:

I wish somebody had told me that sometime in the early eighties; would
have saved me a hell of a lot of money and brain cells.

#27 of 123 by vsclyne on Mon Apr 17 15:59:57 1995:

Dybevick! Rhymes with bickerchick. We're rollin'.

#28 of 123 by steve on Wed Apr 19 03:03:59 1995:

Humph. I don't lurk from any of those IDs. Really now.

#29 of 123 by thanne on Thu Apr 20 17:09:45 1995:

Do you lurk from an EGO?

#30 of 123 by steve on Fri Apr 21 18:34:22 1995:

   Whats an EGO?

#31 of 123 by thanne on Fri Apr 21 19:46:54 1995:

Opposite of an ID?

#32 of 123 by brighn on Fri Apr 21 21:25:54 1995:

Lego my ego!

#33 of 123 by steve on Sat Apr 22 03:44:03 1995:

And there I thought that EGO was a TLA for something interesting.

#34 of 123 by thanne on Sat Apr 22 20:36:45 1995:

TLA? True Love Always? Total Load Actuator? Three-Legged Ass?

#35 of 123 by nephi on Sat Apr 22 20:42:29 1995:

These three letter acronyms can be very hard to figure out sometimes!

I wonder what TLA stands for . . . .

#36 of 123 by thanne on Sat Apr 22 20:50:35 1995:

Tree-Like Armenian?

#37 of 123 by srw on Mon Apr 24 05:09:09 1995:

Nephi, you devil.

#38 of 123 by nephi on Mon Apr 24 05:54:15 1995:

What??? What did I do now?

#39 of 123 by brenner on Mon Apr 24 15:19:59 1995:
