Will be through with pesky grading, once I muster up the will to get it
done today. 60 students whose fate hangs upon me! Bwahahahaaaa!

I'm happy because it's almost tax season (yes, I'm happy because of this!)..
Adrienne and I got screwed last year, but things are going for us this year...
instead of both claiming married with one deduction, we changed our
with-holding early this year to single with no deductions. Our income will
be down slightly, and we've got got a number of good deductions this year,
including $670 worth of stuff to goodwill (our tax advisor gave us a list with
acceptible deductions for individual items), and a Adrienne's classes are also
tax deductible (several thousand dollars this year).

At any rate, we're looking forward to a big fat tax refund to wipe out the
$3000 we still owe the government from *LAST* year.

Yay.

IHB I did a fun dance called "Toss the Wench". Apparently, Midair and I are
both so good at it that he threw me too *far*. Heh...was fun.

Today went well (ie fast) and I got stuff done. I was somewhat surprised to
find myself scheduled in all sorts of time slots I wasn't anticipating, but
it gives me extra hours and I like the shifts. I'll take it. I need food.
Classes are finished after tomorrow.

Grades turned in. I failed a record of 10 students this year... most of
whom decided to take Christmas break early, like September.

I smell like peaches.

I have the day off. :) I was supposed to go bake stuff, but still haven't
gotten around to it, and really don't have time to start, since I still have to
shower and do a couple of things before being somewhere at 6.

But I got stuff to hopefully keep the drafts out of my room now!!!!

The laptop which I thought had been stolen from my office, wasn't.
I left it down near a rack of routers in the computer room.
Which is embarrassing but more pleasant than having to call the campus
police.

Wonderful weekend (in Florida!) with lots of old friends and a lovely
wedding. Successfully prevented various psychotic people from driving
the bride insane. *
*And* survived several hours in a very pretty bridesmaid dress that
mysteriously got too tight around the rib cage. (new muscles from playing
hockey? generic weight gain? the world may never know.)
Discovered an excellent hair product that seems to actually be useful!
<prepares to buy styling product for the first time in at least 5 years>
Will complete tasks in allotted time, and go home in 3 days! :)

Lynne-lynne come home fursday? :)

You know, you never did mention when you were coming in....that would be useful
info to have....:)

Well, I took my boss out and got her drunk, and then we saw "What Women Want".
Ok movie, but we had a great time, and more importantly, I got her to spend a
few hours laughing instead of thinking about the fact that her dad is going to
die any second. (Doc's say before Christmas)

The day is over. I got to hang with my friends for a couple hours after work.
Work was quick, and nobody can fault how hard I worked. I went all eight
hours without a break, before piling both of them on at the end for an extra
half hour.

I 3.0'd Accounting 201! YES!!!!! I didn't think I'd do that well after
I saw the score from my final. And my parents are pleased that I did
that well considering I had mono for half the semester.
So, without two other classes grades being reported, I have a 2.950 GPA.

Yay Wendy! That is great for having mono. =)

IHB my friend is coming down for Cynnabar's dance practice this Thursday.
He's groovy.
IVHB some of my neato gifts included a pretty grey pearl set from Jiff that
will look great with a renaissance outfit, a cool silver necklace from Jess,
a Powerpuff Girls music box from Anney, a gorgeous windchime from Meg, and
a Nightmare Before Christmas music box from Sylvia. =) I loved everything!

Oh, and I also got a sugar cookie candle from Jiff that I swear Anney is going
to eat...and a Nightmare Before Christmas address book from Meg.

(see a pattern?)

ya, fursday! plane in at 4:10 p.m., i imagine my arrival evening has already
been scheduled for me by parents and other people???
Done grading! And done with irritating pointless hand-numbering of 886 pages
of year-end reports :) hmmm...maybe I'll even do a little research in the
next day and a half, after over a month of Other Crap.

I recieved my "tight" MD/CD player at work today. It IS way cool. Alas, it's
a bit big to fit on my desk. So I took it home and am taking the home stereo
in to work. Tah-dah!
