Given the extensive amount of analysis used recently by players of the
5-letter game, I assumed "simple" had taken on a new meaning. As you
can see, it did not take long to guess this word, even though you may
think it is not a simple one.

Your word, Mark!

(the analysis comes chiefly from players who then apply those skills to
the 6-letter and 7-letter games [found in the games conference!]. anyway,
it's just an observation, not a complaint; Agora certainly could use a
dose of sophistication!)

OK, I'm thinking of a 5-letter word.

I never, ever would have guessed "fusil", and so was essentially
disqualified from that round of the contest. I left the 6 and 7 letter
contests over similar issues. Why not just have random strings of
characters, if the words aren't English words anyway?

I'm not trying to stop anyone from whatever they want in this item.
However, if this contest is going to be for unrecognizable words, like
the other two turned out to be, I'll soon find myself excluded from
further participation.

I guess I think it's up to who's "it" to decide how obscure he/she wants the
word to be. If you see that Kent's it, better expect obscure. ;)
