Ok - did a tour of responses and came up with the following list
of nominees. I didn't list anybody who declined. An 'A' after
their login means they've accepted, and 'M' means that as best
I can determine, they are currently members. (Membership and
payment of at least 3 months' dues is a condition for running).
Please correct me if I missed any names, acceptances, or
declinations.

The last day to enter names in nomination is Monday, November 15.
Voting starts on December 1. To appear on the ballot, a person
must accept their nomination in this item before the start of
voting and must meet the membership requirements by that time
as well.

There are a few nominees who haven't responded in this item and
who might not be aware that they've been nominated. I'll send
them an email alert.

re #76
That's pretty sad if you have to tell a nominee to come read the coop cf so
they can accept.

I declined after someone mentioned earlier that I had been nominated.
If you cannot come up with enough more competent candidates I might
reconsider, assuming someone else from my part of town is also going to be
going to the meetings, which are now held on the extreme northern or eastern
fringes of my daytime world.

I nominate (In successive and decessive order) Brett Vachon, Richard "I'm not
a Nazi and Neither is Nietzsche" Wagner, the ever lovable Mary Remmers,
Bohemian John Remmers, Grex's stalwart guardian, Todd Plescow, and Sindi "I
don't smell like cat piss" Keesan.

With a fistful of hay and a baleful of good will, we find in nominee debt
a gratitude of platitudes in the form of Tod Plesco, Sindi Kee-san, and our
very own David Hoffman, to which we can ascribe the acronym TP-SK-DH,
which mostly resembles a license plate in the State of Ohio.

Re #76 - Got your email Mr. Remmers, thanks I guess. I would accept but I'm
not a member.

We all want to be in Evanston, Ohio, and, believing Mrs Morena Timm capable
of getting us there, we nominate her.

What has more momentum than ric falling down the stairs and yet is more
powerful than the normal force? One might guess the GreX BoD, but we could
be wrong. Regardless, we nominate our resident funkeymunkey and our ever
present form empl e.

When the conservatives were worried about a slippery slope, they were right.

Not only do us liberals want fags to get married; we now want to marry naftee
to the position of Grex BoDM, and so we nominate him.

response 86 of 188: Mark Unseen   Nov 9 22:49 UTC 2004

Whether you're south or north of the border, one thing is for certain, Ann
Arbor is most definitely to the south, and David Hoffman is veering the GreX
BoD towards the north with his nomination.

response 87 of 188: Mark Unseen   Nov 9 22:57 UTC 2004

Ottawa is as far north of Ann Arbor as Ann Arbor is of Kentucky. Think about
it.

That's why we should nominate people from Ottaawa to replace those from Ann
Arbor, and, sicnce Brett Vachon is from Ottawa, I nominate him.

Aplogies to Sindi for missing that she declined. I also missed
Dave Cahill's nomination, so I'll add

        dpc M

to the list and email him.

Note that regarding accepting and declining, one can always change one's
mind up to the start of voting on December 1.

Bang ! Bling ! Blong! These are the sounds of failure as they hit the ground
and pave the way for our new nominees, namely, David "The First" Cahill, Josep
Gellinas, David "The Seconde" Hoffmann, and "Odd Todd" Plesco.
