The other great thing is that my brother and his wife will be moving to
Kentucky in July. they will only be ~8 hrs away vs. 22 hours. Now if only
my other brother got that job in Cin-city... then it would rule.

Skipping two classes today, went to the career center to be told what I
already knew and recieved almost no help with career choices etc. One
more class to go to, think I will go to it. And tons 'o' homework and
catch up to do.

Be happy you've advanced warning; once I was told, "Oh, the dean is coming
in ten minutes." [insert panic attack]

Well, it's Monday. In anticipation of the Monday meeting at 7:30, I went to
bed last night at 10. Good plan, right? Unfortunately, my body saw right
through my little deceptions, and it knew what was *really* going on: I was
taking a nap. Whether I wanted to or not. So, 1 a.m. rolls around and I wake
up, feeling refreshed, alert, and not the slightest bit sleepy. 'round 3 I
gave up on trying to talk my body back into sleeping, and resolved to read
until I felt the vague possibility of sleeping might exist. This occurred
around 5:30.
Now, when I was in college, I discovered that there really *is* a point
where it's more productive just to stay up and do what needs to be done than
to get the little bit of sleep possible in the time available. By extensive
research, I discovered that getting less than about three hours of sleep
actually makes me *less* alert, short term, than just staying awake. Hence,
I decided to get dressed and go find some coffee. Fortunately, this is not
overly difficult at 6 a.m. in this town. I enjoy a leisurely breakfast with
a great deal of caffiene, and stroll into my office a comfortable fifteen
minutes late for the meeting. (This being, in my company, extremely punctual;
fifteen minutes late means that I'll be among the first people there.) After
chatting briefly with the people who are there for ten minutes or so, I'm
somewhat stunned to discover that there is, in fact, no meeting today. The
relevant bosses are still in California doing Stuff.
'Course, by this time, my body would have no trouble at all with the notion
of me going to sleep, and would no doubt participate heartily in any such
endeavour. Grr.

Just spent a night in absolute hell. Had another fight with roommate last
night about...what else, money. Spent the night baracaded in my room with
my cats and didn't fall asleep until he went to work at 5:30am. He didn't
hit me this time, like the last time he slammed me against the wall, but he
threw clothing, laundry baskets, a bag full of cassettes, and other stuff at
me. He ripped the hinge screws of out door jam on 2 of the 3 hinges. It was
his door. afterwards he walked out of the house, in the dark, took a walk,
and I was baracaded when he got back. Looking for a new place to live has
now gotten more urgent, and I have an appointment with Apartment Search today.
I spoke with this guys father yesterday, and he told me that he's been worried
about how his son treats me, and that I should find another place to live,
get on with my life, and tell him to Fuck Off. His mom feels the same way.
So, I don't think I'll last til the end of the lease, like I had hoped. I'll
be out as soon as I find a place, and can pack up and go. I had been trying
to do this the adult amicable way, but it appears that to do that, I need to
be dealing with an adult, and that isn't the case. I had thought that I would
be able to save at least some kindness and make it a good split for both of
us, but I'm not even caring anymore. My cats and me are the most important
thing. And we are moving as soon as possible.
I'd move to the other side of the state if I could, I have friends over there,
but I love my boss. It's cheaper over there too, but I finally am happy in
a job and benefits, so it's not an option right now. Trying to make my life
easier, not harder. So here is to hoping, and some good luck. His father
reccommended Milan, and others ahve suggested Ypsi/Arbor and Bellville. I
haven't been to Bellville or Milan, but I'm willing to take a chance and look.
Hopefully they'll be cheaper than A2.
Wish me luck, please. I think I need it.

He borrowed $19 from me on monday to hvae money to get to work and syringes
(he's a diabetic) he got paid on thursday, didn't pay me back, ended up eating
some food I bought just for me, and some candy that I had put in my desk.
Refused to admit it, said that his actions with me have no consequences, that
he's never paying me back, so I told him that I was going to take it out of
the rent money I give him at the end of this week or next. That's when he
started throwing things at me.
As soon as I find a place, you bet I'll call.

So he owes you $19 and told you that he won't pay you back?
Was there any other excuse besides not being responsible?

It's a stretch, but I'd file with small claims court, and also
see about getting a restraining order.
