Hung out with Trae Pierce and the T Stone Crew at BB King's in Orlando. My colleague and I totally snuck in through the back and the band rolled out the carpet. It was surreal. Great great band..fun fun..

The Metropolitan Opera's "HD Live" movie-theater presentation of "The Marriage of Figaro" was excellent, one of the best of the series. I suggest one catch the Wednesday repeat (that's tomorrow) if one has any interest. Delightful singing and acting from all the leads, delightful staging. I need to write something about how opera-movies from Covent Garden now appear to be contractually locked out of the USA due to the Met. No time today, though.
