Left work early yesterday to see Dr. Stroustrup speak. Learned useful things,
got my copy signed. :)
Watched "Ghost Dog: The way of the samurai". Wow.
When I went to the mailbox this morning, I was able (for the first time in
my tenure as treasurer) to park legally!
Maize and Blue deli for lunch. Hell, yeah.
PJ's.

Is that what you were getting? Weird. I slept for about 16 hours. I can't
complain. How can I justify it? Well, it gives me less time to stay up
before class tomorrow. I really should see how I did on my last logic exam.
I can go shopping today, raaa

IHB- I had a great dinner with Mary and Syl last night, and when I got
home I got pampered a lil by That Guy before kicking him out so I could
go to bed early.

IHB had fun with Syl and Anne last night, then returned to my house where my
cats proved that when company is around I have no control over them, and when
company leaves they suck up and say "See momma? We were NICE"
IAHB I fooled Tanis, the purring love cat, last night. Shortly after Syl
left, I went to bed, turned on the TV to watch Law and Order at 11, and fell
asleep. Woke up at 10:30, Tanis did his love fest t hing, curled up on my
chest so I couldnt' see the TV (he's a BIG cat, I could see the top 2" of the
tv screen on my 19" tv, and yes I was a little slouchy in bed) and proceeded
to sleep for the rest of the night, eventually moving to the empty part of
bed beside me. Slept through the entire night. YEA!!!!!

Mailed off my stuff to Andersen Consulting and AMS. WOO HOO! I've
been offered conditional employment with the NSA, but I think I'm
turning them down. (Collective sigh of relief from my Red
friends . .ooh . .. shiver ;)

I talked to Bernice today and other than some dizzy problems and decreasing
pain, her surgery went well. We'll find out how much she can hear in about
3 to 4 weeks, but she's happy she did it. All around happy feelings.

I'm happy because I just watched another episode of "Normal, Ohio" with John
Goodman.
God I love nice cleavage, and that show has LOTS of it :) (No, none of it
is John Goodman's)

I second that. (resp: 713)
Also, tonight's hell shift taught me that I have true friends worth calling
family at my job. I've never seen such unconditional devotion and caring at
a job until I had to deal with this evening. I actually had to go in the back
and cry for ten minutes when the nonsense ended.

Oh...but I am really really happy 'cause a guy I've kinda sorta been
interested in told me he's been kinda sorta interested in me since Spring.
He's really nice, we have a lot in common, and we're not really dating but
"hanging out". (There are many weird issues that are preventing a
relationship). What makes me so happy about it (besides that he's cool) is
that he told me some really nice, sincere things that I've been needing to
hear for a while. It was one of those "don't they only give those speeches
in movies?" kinda things. =)

I am happy - I have been offered a job at a very nice company - but I think
my law firm (I am currently here as a temp) is going to make a bid to keep
me. God bless the attorneys I work for that have been so supportive of me
and have been very vocal about how happy they are with me.

Today I went and spent a solid half hour on a stairclimber over at Vet's
Park... I'm still in decent shape (150 floors in 30 minutes) from all the
other stuff I do, but I hadn't gotten properly soaked in sweat in a few weeks.
And snow!!!
