Okay, I think Ruby still lags behind CLOS in terms of multiple dispatching. So in other words, I don't think Ruby, in some cases, is an acceptable form of Lisp. However, it's really not fair to just single out Ruby. There are langauges like Java that aren't really capable of multiple dispatching. Also, I think there is something funky going on with how Ruby handles statements and expressions, but I can't put my finger on it yet. | ||
