We put Christmas up last night....and I got to string cranberries onto green
ribbon...they look pretty and stuff. :)

So far a pretty nice day, and right now I've got onions and garlic sauteing
in olive oil while Pete Townshend's "All the Best Cowboys have Chinese Eyes"
plays on the stereo.

The children were here this saturday, and i enjoyed my time with both
Alex and Erica.
(I also had to pry the jar of cashews out of Erica's arms before
She left. :) )

My room looks... clean. It is in a state it has not seen in many a year.

Nice relaxing productive day to myself. I finally got around to ordering a
dining room table, after having an empty dining room for almost four months.
I did lots of laundry. I took a long walk. I'm going to a movie shortly.
I think I may even be able to get in grocery shopping, after not having eaten
at home all week.

IVH because my team won our competition today, which is good because we were
all nervous because we had only finished the program on Tuesday!

I just got offered a Very Important Decision at work tonight. It's going to
take a lot of time and thinking (which they're allowing me), but this could
decide my *lifetime* career path.

IHB- I had a realtively good weekend.... relatively.
+ bought Da Yoopers Culture Shock tape (after losing my old copy and
wanting to inflect it on Meg and Sylvia)
+ had a lot of fun gaming on Saturday in Lansing
+ That Guy came back Saturday
+ My car horn no longer works (yes, this does make me happy... )

Well, this may not be politically correct, but I'm happy that I got to
watch a big fight in a hockey game on Saturday. I'm even happier that
my microphone (I was doing PA) had died earlier in the 3rd period, so I
didn't have to announce the over 20 penalties. :)

I'm doing well so far. Class just finished. 8 hours of work left, and I get
a day off... I'm having a good week today.

Looks like chainsaw chains for my Dad's chainsaw are readily available, even
at Meijer. Yesterday's murder of the nice oak tree really showed how worn
out the chain had gotten, then I did some mental counting and realized I'd
cut down (and cut up the remains) ~9 trees with the thing. Probably I just
should've bought my own saw.

I'm happy my team won the long program sunday. I'm also very happy because
I wrote a paper for my class today, found out that with very little revision
I could use the same paper for another class, and wrote a third paper tonight
after dinner! So now I've got three of the six papers that I couldn't write
over the weekend because I was competing done in one day! Woohoo!
(I'm also happy because at least the other three papers are all play reviews,
so although I can't use the same paper more than once, they are at least all
in the same style.)

IHB I got to see sonogram picts of the New Kriegel. I think it is a boy, but
I am not trained to read them... still think it is a boy.

24 hours of work in a 32 hour span. I'm finished. I'm slightly richer. I'm

My dining room is starting to look less like a storage room and more like a
big empty room. Now I can start working on having it look like a dining room
(which will be helped considerably when the table arives next week).

IHB Bernice's cochlear implant surgery went REALLY well. Also, I spent an
entire night at home alone, for the first time in a LONG time, and it was
okay. Went to bed early and am working today.
