swive (kind of obscure, but unlike the above guesses, it actually
works)
For those who'd like to practice their word guessing skills (or win
without having to supply the next word), I've installed a program under
/usr/games called 'letter'
The computer chooses a word, you guess it. Does 5 letter words by
default, but you can also run things like 'letter -6' to do six letter
words. Dictionary's exist for word lengths from 1 to 20.
It will remember for each word what the smallest number of guesses ever
taken to solve it was. If you beat a previous record, it will tell you.
However, this won't happen much at first, as the dictionary has an awful
lot of words in it.
Control-R or Control-L redisplays the scores so far.
More details are in 'man letter'

(I expect "opens" to score a zero. But I need that information.)
